Mongolian barbecue allows diners to chose from a buffet of thinly sliced raw meats and vegetables, give them to a grill cook who adds spice and cooks the ingredients on a large griddle. At Charlie's, customers select from around 30 varieties of fresh vegetables, meats and noodles, stacking as much as they can carry on a plate. The plate is handed to a cook who adds the customer's choice of spices, then throws it all on a large, round grill, where it cooks in minutes while the customer watches. There is a good selection of sauces and hot spices to add an extra kick. Service is friendly and efficient at Charlie's, but don’t forget to tip the cook who prepares your food with the help of a big stick.
